Founder's History

John Heffinger launched Management17 in 2014 bringing 35 years of vehicle data identification, valuation and management to the business. He recognized that the marketplace was lacking a service that offered comprehensive vehicle portfolio insight with complete understanding and usage of the 17-digit VIN. 

The focus of his career has been the study and understanding of VIN and how it can work in many diverse applications. He has partnered with auto manufacturers, government entities, as well as many other third-party providers to bring together a world class solution for vehicle identification and portfolio insight.
